Building a Commemoration Center for Paratroopers’ Heritage
In order to realize and fulfill the vision of “The Association for the Legacy of the Paratroopers,” which is to tell, document, and instill the story, values, and combat heritage of active and reserve paratroopers, a “Heritage Center” is being established. This center will serve as a home for all paratrooper legacy, education, and commemoration activities.
The Heritage Center is currently in the planning stages and completing final conditions before receiving its permit. The center is planned to be built adjacent to Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem and will include an instruction wing, a commemoration wing, a hostel/small hotel, an auditorium, meeting rooms, and more.
Building the Operating Rooms Wing – The Yoseftal Hospital, Eilat
Owing to its vast experience, Gadish was chosen to plan a building with 5 operating rooms, 3 delivery rooms, 22 dialysis stations and sterilization. The wing would include a basement + 2 floors.
A Laboratory in the Yoseftal Hospital
Gadish contributed some of its vast knowledge and experience to the construction of a laboratory which serves the hospitals and clinics in the Eilat region, with a total area of 500m2. The various laboratories which are included in the lab compound are: Biochemistry, immunoassay, hematology, microbiology, sperm bank, blood bank, virology, and an emergency lab.
The lab is constructed modularly, in order to enable maximal flexibility and a simple adjustment of the equipment which would be replaced throughout the laboratory’s lifecycle. The biochemistry and emergency lab workspaces are open spaces that provide the option of placing floor equipment at the center and countertops and storage cupboards in the periphery.
In the laboratories wing, support functions such as a cafeteria, toilets, changing rooms and showers were also built.
