Gadish Plans Preferred Housing Complex in Ghajar
Gadish Group, acting as the planning company, developed a plan for the Ghajar Preferred Housing complex on behalf of the Ministry of Construction and Housing. This initiative was advanced following a government decision and a declaration by the Housing Cabinet.
The plan encompasses 1,313 housing units, 30 dunams for light industry and crafts, public buildings, and open spaces. The proposed design aims to preserve the unique communal characteristics of Ghajar village.
The Saroud Channel, which runs through the plan area, is maintained in its natural state and integrated into the open spaces.
The project addressed unique planning challenges, including security aspects due to its proximity to the Lebanese border, proprietary issues, existing minefields, and the distinct social and community characteristics of the area
