As a master planner and general civil engineering designer, the company takes full control of large-scale civil projects, complementing its multidisciplinary, in-house team with external consultants and designers as sub-contractors. The company’s main activities include arterial roads and infrastructure, tunnels and bridges, large-scale residential projects (over 35,000 units), sport facilities, offices and administration centers and tourism projects.
In Israel, the Group is engaged in land and infrastructure development projects on behalf of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Housing and Construction and the Israel Land Administration. Services include the preparation of statutory plans, detailed planning, and marketing to developers and construction companies.
The Gadish Group’s involvement in national projects in Israel includes the Cross-Israel Highway, The Tel Aviv to Kfar Saba suburban railway line, Israel’s Dan Region central sewage treatment complex, Jerusalem’s “Teddy” Football Stadium, the Caesarea National Park, the Ramot Quarter in Jerusalem, as well as, many other leading projects.
Major projects include:
Residential: Project management and construction supervision of new neighborhoods in the cities; Ashkelon, Ashdod, Petach Tikva and more.
Roads and infrastructure: 90 km of arterial road systems, 5 km. of tunnels and over 40 bridges in Jerusalem valued at $750 million; the Ashdod Interchange; National Highways 65, 75, 79 and 410; and construction management of Stage 2 of the Cross-Israel Highway.
Railways: Design management of the Jerusalem Mass Transit System and construction of traffic corridors; preliminary design of the 19-km Tel Aviv LRT Green Line; project management and construction supervision of 32 km of suburban rail linking Tel Aviv with Kfar Saba and Rosh Ha'ayin; the 60-km Lod-Ashkelon Railway and the Lod-Kiryat Gat Railway.
Sport: Project management and construction supervision of the 30,000-seat Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem; renovation of the Givat Ram Athletic Stadium in Jerusalem; new soccer stadiums in Beer Sheva and Netanya; and rehabilitation of the soccer stadium in Sakhnin.
Utilities: Construction supervision of the deepest parts of the Eastern Sewage Collector Line for the Dan Region consisting of a 12-km long 220 cm exterior diameter pipeline, jacked (micro-tunneled) its entire length from 6 to 38 m deep; the $300-million expansion of Haifa’s Carmel Port including a new container quay and inland development; and construction supervision of 4.5-km gas pipeline in Hadera.
With an eye to the future, the Gadish Group is managing some of Israel’s most fascinating architectural projects, including the Calatrava Bridge at the entrance to Jerusalem, integrating the new light rail system with road traffic.
The Group is establishing its position as a global company, capable of taking the lead in such futuristic projects as artificial islands, sewage treatment and desalination plants as well as gas-fueled power plants and energy towers.
